Corrections to Read and Speak Greek Course

If you have trouble accessing the Phonics section with error saying "File in use ...", or you get a resize error saying 'value out of range', then click on correction #1, correction #2, correction #3, correction #4, and save the files in folder c:\amrgrk01 overriding the existing files. After you do save the files, run the program and click on the Resize button in the upper left hand corner of the main menu (the screen that has all the program sections) and follow the instructions.

The resize error may not go away in WINDOWS XP systems by downloading the correction. If the error does not go away, then you must change the resolution of your monitor to a multiple of 640x480, such as 1.5x <=> 960x720, 2.0x <=> 1280x960, 2.5x <=>1600x1200, ...). Pick one you like and then experiment further to pick the one you feel most confortable and will not trigger the resizing error.

You can change the resolution by clicking on Start/Settings/Control Panel/Double click on Display/single click on Settings and then adjust the Area Size to a new resolution.

Later version 4.2 does resize correctly in WINDOWS XP systems.

Version 4.0 and 4.1 and 4.2

• If you get errors on clicking the white boxes with red letters appearing in the section "Dialogs for taxi, shopping, doctor and pharmacy", then click on correction and save the file DIALOGS.WFO in folder c:\anotek\greek4 overring the existing file.

• If you get an error on clicking page 23 of the vocabulary, then click on correction #1 and correction #2 and correction #3 save the files (exer01.dbf, exer01.dbt, exer01.mdx) folder c:\anotek\greek4 overring the existing files.

• If you get an error on clicking Present Perfect or Past Perfect or Future Perfect of the Grammar exercises belonging to the Language (program section 10), then click on correction #1 and correction #2 and correction #3 and correction #4 and save the files (exer07.dbf, exer07.dbt, exer07.mdx, exer07mi.dbf) in the folder c:\anotek\greek4 overring the existing files.

• If you get errors in the construction of long Greek sentences in section 10 titled 'Language exercises'/subsection titled 'Sentence exercises', then click on correction and save the file (greek4.exe) in the folder c:\anotek\greek4 overriding the existing file.
